About the DLESE NY Landscape Regions In Google Earth Project

The NY Landscape Regions in Google Earth project was completed during the spring and early summer of 2006. Sponsored by grants from the Digital Water Education Library (DWEL) and the Digital Library for Earth System Education (DLESE), a group of high school and university educators from around the state developed Google Earth tours related to the landscape regions of New York State and submitted them to each other for review, criticism, and final editing. The main authors of the group met at SUNY College at Oneonta in July for final formating and review, and the NY Landscape Regions in Google Earth was added to the DLESE NY Instructional Collection of labs, lessons, and activities in July of 2006.
